If you've felt like you've done a bad job with something before, don't feel bad, cause someone has most likely done worse. You probably didn't include an inconspicuous "shart" in a sign, and you probably haven't buried a fire hydrant in cement. There are too many impressively unprofessional "not my job" moments and sloppy design fails out there to even compete.
