'I'm so dumbfounded': Law student sits two hour interview only to be subsequently told the position is unpaid

Bosting about profits when your workers are underpaid is never a good look; you're just bragging about money that has gone into your wallet that should have otherwise gone towards your employees earning at least market rate.

'I'm just feeling a bit humiliated and unfairly called out': Professor tells college student to wear a longer skirt in a class-wide email

I don't see this ending well for the professor... This student, who shared her story via this thread on Reddit's r/college subreddit, prefaced her post by explaining that she is extremely cognizant about what she wears to class. On top of that, the professor has seemingly never had an issue with the student's dress code prior to this moment.

With all this in mind, it clearly came as a big surprise when the student found herself singled out and shamed in a class-wide email about the dress code for their upcoming presentations. If it were a serious issue, the professor should have pulled the student aside and had a private conversation. The public shaming is not only rude and unproductive, but it also will jeopardize the professor's reputation if the student chooses to get the dean involved. Several professors and students shared their thoughts about what the Redditor should do next in the comments section below. For more stories like this, here's one about another college student's petty revenge.

Boss insists "cameras on, no exceptions" policy for remote workers, sparks online debate

The sure sign of a bad rule is utter and complete inflexibility; on the flip side, flexibility is something that is naturally worked into organizations by leaders who want to see and promote mutual success. If you're being overly tyrannical and micromanaging one particular aspect of your employee's work without considering things like their actual output and contribution, you're probably doing something wrong. Are you trying to contribute to everyone's success or trying to pump up your own ego with a power trip?

'I live my life like I'm being stalked by a sniper': 30+ Cringey and shocking confessions that could only be told anonymously

Who wants to own up to embarrassing things they've done when they could share that info anonymously instead? Certainly the users of @fesshole do! The British-based site is perfect for anonymous contributors to share their spiciest and most scandalous secrets. No one will ever know it's them, and everyone gets to take in the scenario.

Even if you follow the page already, people post scores of these secrets each day, so we've searched through and found the most interesting ones! I'm particularly a fan of the husbands and wives keeping secrets from their significant others. Somehow, the stakes of their secrets being found out feels especially high! For example, one husband accidentally discovered his wife's wedding vows before their big day and has never told her. Hope she doesn't find out now that he's confessed anonymously!
