'She was furious': Dude has a meltdown over spicy food and ruins his wife's birthday wonders if he's wrong

One thing's for sure in this story… This guy needs to drink a glass of milk and cool off. It's important to remember that things aren't always about you; you need to let other people in your life have their moment in the limelight, especially during times when it is literally all about them. These times include (but aren't limited to) weddings, birthdays, and funerals—any time that your job is to be there for someone else. Taking it upon yourself to claim the spotlight will only ensure that you aren't invited in the future. This husband refused to let his wife have things her way on her birthday. All she wanted to do was go to dinner at a restaurant that specialized in the style of food from the region in China where she grew up. He doesn't like "spicy" food, and she had to beg him to go with her. When the food came, it was too spicy for his liking, he began to make a scene—sending (perfectly good) food back to the kitchen, demanding less spicy dishes. After his wife told him to just eat the rice (since that's the only food his delicate palate could handle), he got up and left in a huff—solidifying his wife's humiliation. The husband turned to the internet to see whether or not he was in the wrong for ruining his wife's birthday, and since his own version of events does little to paint him in a positive light, it's hard to imagine how brutal this scene was to witness in real-time.

'The manager then tells him they cannot have 35 pizzas ready': Customer escorted from pizza place after manager tips himself $125

There are no winners in the tipping debate, but this dude decided to ask people on the internet if they thought he handled this the right way.  As u/Thatsweatyguy4 wrote in their post to r/AmItheA**hole, they and their little brother found themselves in an awkward situation with the manager of a pizza place. Basically every human being loves pizza, so it makes sense that the brother, an intern who organized a food drive, picked the universally beloved food to serve. They planned to give a pizza lunch to the floor in the office that donated the most money. As the OP writes, on a Monday, their bro called up a pizza joint to enquire about ordering a LOT of pizza — 35 pies, to be exact.  From there, though, it seems like the pizza place gave this guy the runaround. After telling him to call back on Wednesday morning to confirm the order, suddenly the manager on duty starts saying they can't do such a big order. That's not even what got the brother upset! He agreed to try again the following week. The red flags were there, but it was too late for this guy, who got roped into a crazy situation when he finally did retrieve his pizza pies.  In the comments, most people agreed that the pizza place was at fault, and some even suggested the brother contact his credit card company to tell them what happened. Scroll down to check out the story of these brothers and their pizza conquest. After that, check out these laughable questions people decided to ask, such as, "How tall are your 6-foot ladders?"

'I knew triplets named Cinnamon Rosemary and Paprika': 25 Bizarre Baby Names

One has to wonder what these parents were thinking. Was it always a practical joke? Were they trying to make life harder for their new children? Or have they just completely lost it?   Over the years, we have seen plenty of bizarre baby names in the pop culture space. We're talking Gwyneth Paltrow's Apple, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost's Cosmo, and let's not forget Robert Rodriguez's Rocket, Rebel, Racer, Rhiannon, and Rogue (talk about alliteration!). However, as it turns out, bizarre baby names also extend beyond celebrity culture. Based on these lists of names, which were shared in this r/AskReddit thread, there are plenty of "normal people" who choose the absolutely craziest names for their children. I guess you can say celebrities really are just like us, which in turn means that we are all capable of strange and cringeworthy behavior.   Keep scrolling below for these 25 bizarre baby names. Sir this is what you wanted': Physics teacher gets schooled by students after he demands they plot graph despite not knowing the range of values upfront

When teachers attempt to exert control with no real grounds to do so, things get messy, fast. In this case, a physics teacher demanded his students plot the graph for an experiment as they went along, despite not knowing the range of values upfront. OP, who was a part of the class, realized that even though this teacher had no clue what he was doing, he and the rest of the class would have to comply. The experiment in question included demonstrating the young modulus, where you would expect a straight line, until a point whereby the material yields and strains much further than expected by Hooke's law. So the entire class began plotting the data they had, but they clearly didn't have enough space to accompany the entire experiment and were running out of paper, pretty fast. Smugly, they turned to their teacher and asked him, 'Sir, what should we do now?', to which he replied angrily that he'd go get some tape and more A4 graph paper. He doubled the graph paper by taping them together and called them a few names. The fun for the students didn't end there… scroll down to read what happened next. 'Effective immediately': Employee gets fired on the spot after giving notice to their restaurant job

Giving notice to a job is the right thing to do—when you have the right employer. Like any relationship, the working relationship is built on trust, and a strong relationship that is filled with goodwill should always be honored. But when you know that the person employing you is prone to petty fits of rage—which often include firing people on the spot with no prior warning—maybe it's best not to let this person know that you plan on leaving their business in the next few weeks. After all, they—like so many others—might take that as a slight against them and their ego. This worker made the decision to leave the restaurant where they had worked for seven months. They share that even in that short period of employment, they had seen extreme levels of staff turnover, writing that they were the only employee who had stayed there for "so long."  The chef, who owned the business, was well-known among staff for their abusive behavior—talking down to, belittling, and even berating members of the team.  When the worker let the owner know of their decision to leave, the owner immediately replied that there was no reason for them to come in again, going as far as to email the rest of the staff to let them know that the worker was banned from the business because of "performance." Readers of the worker's account of events were incensed, and many encouraged the worker to seek unemployment for wrongful dismissal.
