Ivanka Trump went and awakened the fiery wrath of (real) punks everywhere when she claimed in her mom's memoir, Raising Trump, that she went through a hardcore phase in the '90s. Can't make this sh*t up, guys:
During my punk phase in the nineties, I was really into Nirvana. My wardrobe consisted of ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts. One day after school, I dyed my hair blue. Mom wasn't a fan of this decision. She took one look at me and immediately went out to the nearest drugstore to buy a $10 box of Nice'n Easy. That night, she forced me to dye my hair back to blond. Despite the absurdity we stumble across daily on the internet we still find ourselves continually surprised with what people can come up with. Today, on the list is the rise of the 'Sexy Goldfish' Halloween costume.
We've seen plenty of weird 'sexy' costumes over the years but this one drives the absurdity of the trend into brand new directions. The designer who incepted the idea probably was running dry on new costume ideas for the year. With their deadline fast approaching they started brainstorming what sort of costumes people liked.
"Well the sexy cat costume is a Halloween classic," the desperate designer probably thought to themselves, "So people must really be into sexy pets."
With that brilliant idea the 'sexy goldifsh' was incepted and the white bread of pets was brought into the sexy costume fold.
