In an effort to trim down a company, some managers try eliminating vital positions without replacing them. Some managers illegally dock pay, and IT has to get it all back. In this case a hotheaded manager went and made a pretty big mistake while also making sure there was a lot of proof for that mistake. Nice. Some managers are super chill, like this boss who used an eye gag to remove problem customers.
Newly installed roundabouts can be a bit of an adjustment. Like, it sucks not being able to go as fast anymore. But it doesn't seem like a new installation should be so mind-bogglingly confusing that it makes people question whether or not to drive on the right or left side of the road.
Just imagine this new machine learning model being applied to other games out there. The possibilities are mind blowing, to say the very least. It'd be awesome to see this in action with a racing game.
What is going on with management at that hotel? Do they just not care anymore, or what? Maybe it was someone's last day, and they couldn't be bothered to do their one job correctly. No matter the cause, the resulting setup for this guy who just wanted a nice view is a glorious fail.
There's nothing we love to see more than an entitled, aggressive, straight up toxic customer get their rightful comeuppance after issuing threats to an employee. We can only imagine how stressful this must've been for the tech support employee to navigate, but to see them come out on top when it's all said and done makes it all worth it. From the idiotically expensive to the low budget car mods and fixes, there's a lot of room on the road for absurdity. That's not to say it takes technical expertise to make your car look like a bigass shark, it's just that it says more about you as a person than the car itself. Either way, as long as it's not going on our cars, may the dubious car mods flow freely.
When the hierarchy gets overzealous and cocky, things can get out of hand real fast. This employee found themselves under direct orders to not double check a coworker's work, and low and behold, they wasted a whole bunch of money. At least there are times when all the blame falls on a supervisor, like this incompetent manager who demanded worse customer service and got all the blame.
Honestly, the most satisfying revenge stories involve the shady villain characters that could've avoided their ultimate destruction if they'd but simply played nice. It sounds like this guy has a kind enough heart, and really didn't want to escalate things as he did, but he was given no other choice. So, the revenge that ensued was swift and critically effective.
This world's clearly never going to run out of entitled people and their endless series of wildly irrational demands. In this case, we have a terribly entitled mother stage a temper tantrum after being rightfully rejected a doll that she wanted for her daughter. The thing about the doll is that it never would've been appropriate to have given away. Clearly though, the mom just wasn't able to peer through the thick veil of her own ignorance.
What do you do when an entitled neighbor starts some drama to prevent something as simple as a neighborhood basketball hoop? You figure out a loophole and get that hoop, baby. Praise be to the powers of welding. This one is in the same vein as the guy who realized he needed a permit to build a garage so he just bought a van instead.
Yeah, it's nice having access to better tv at the click of a button. Of course it's better to be able to video chat with a friend who lives across the country. It's definitely convenient to be able to solve a heated argument by looking up the cast list for The Lion King. But also it was nice to not have to walk around with a box that makes you angry to look at. You could chalk it up partially to nostalgia, but there were a few nice things about the modern dark ages where VCRs ruled and we used to be excited about a re-run we liked.
It sounds like there was a whole lot more going on in this lady's life. It was confirmed in the comments section that the hospital parking lot she ended up parking the rental car at was pretty dang far away from where she was supposed to return the rental car. Seems like she could've just parked close to where she lived, and then when that turned out to be a faulty move, she tried to play dumb. The thing about playing dumb in her case was it only made the fees worse.
Copyright is a hell of a beast, so these toy manufacturers threw some toys together with dollop of word salad to try to squeeze in as much brand recognition as possible without having to deal with any of that pesky legal infringement for their amazing and ridiculous bootlegs. I can't even begin to imagine how thick the air must've been with pure cringe. Just to have been a fly on the wall.
There are regrettable dump truck loads of cursed foods out there, but none of them encapsulate the spirit of off-flavor quite like a bowl full of sidewalk-colored moosh. The overdone steaks look like the least scary gray food in here, given all the egg and sinister pasta cursed food abominations that look like they smell like pinched loaves mixed with underwear sausage.
Honestly, it seems like this guy's fiancé is having a reaction that's blown way out of proportion. Like, the dude went out of his way to squirrel away upwards of $20K to be able to put the money down on a stunning diamond ring, and then you have the audacity to continually pester him over the fact that you wanted a natural stone vs. a lab grown. Plus, his reasoning for going with the lab grown diamond is completely morally sound. Hopefully they're able to work this one out.
Movies are great at filling our vulnerable and rampant imaginations with all kinds of unrealistic expectations and desires about how the world should work. Sometimes it's those clever little plot holes that escapes the viewer's attention, and ends up instilling in them a belief that would hold no ground back in the real world. Romantic comedies in particular are great at that. But hey, if you can just enter into the experience of watching the movie, well aware that life's a whole lot more difficult than it's portrayed on the big screen, you'll be just fine.
We live in a world of many things. Some of those things are food. Some of them are stuff that looks like food but isn't. Basically anything that looks glossy, candy coated or brightly colored looks like something that should go in our mouths. But be warned, those things could be soap, spider eggs or whole turtles. At least we can look at the delicious looking things that aren't food and wish.
Seriously, just consider the amount of time that this guy must've sunk into this project to pull it off. The results are effectively bringing on tidal waves of that childhood nostalgia.
