Is this heartwarming? Or is this a sign of "them kids not knowin which way is up or down with them their noses buried into them cell phones all day?" Eh, maybe it's in between. What it is is Bo Jackson, the only athlete to ever be an all star in both baseball and football, politely explaining his immense sports prowess to a kid who doesn't seem to realize the gravity of the moment he finds himself in. But hey, most people don't have a clue who Jim Thorpe is, so who are we to judge.
So, it's pretty much a fact that this might be the best candy in the dang world. Anyone who has ever messed with the sour Altoids knows that they're on a level of their own. The fact that this guy is bringing back the infamous Altoids Tangerine sour candies is quite exciting.
Just imagining a scenario where you're forced to make a landing in the middle of a crowded road would be enough to bring a whole lot of people's brains into a panic. However, it's clear that this pilot's operating on a different level. Maybe after enough training you can just sink into a stress free automated existence where you don't think twice about the implications of not nailing a landing on a crowded road.
At this point, adults can eat whatever they want and as long as they don't try to get in other people's faces over it, no harm no foul. There are a surprising amount of situations where people decide to be unreasonable about other people's diets, like this Vegan employee who suggested a coworker eat their burger outside or this vegan who demanded a fellow wedding guest's vegan meal. It goes every which way, like this uncle who demanded a meat meal at a vegan wedding or this irrational neighbor who demanded nutless baklava.
Don't these people have work to do?
Unfortunately, far too many of us have found ourselves miserably entrenched in a gig that we absolutely can't stand. Maybe you missed the red flags that were so darn hidden when you went to interview for the job. And then suddenly, you've found yourself in the middle of a job with a waking nightmare of a manager. Hopefully these people's stories serve to make you feel a bit better about your own low points during your various jobs.
Man, it sounds like this customer is being just a tad bit unreasonable in terms of exercising some understanding over the fact that yes, humans are perpetually prone toward make errors. It's part of life. Spills happen. For whatever reason this customer decided that the overworked waitress mistakenly spilling wine on their jacket warranted a skip on the tip. Well, it's no surprise that folks in the comments section didn't take too kindly to that route.
There's nothing quite like a tadpole bigger than a 12 oz can of soda to really drive home the "wow factor" of how large absolute units can get. And just about anything can become an absolute unit, a sultan of circumference. There are big vegetables, big tools, big animals and big everything. For anything that exists, there's an absolute unit of it, and that's a beautiful thing.
You've got to hand it to the world's lot of individuals that are working in the realm of tech support. They regularly deal with all kinds of impossibly clueless and sometimes even belligerent individuals. Seriously. It's out of control. This particularly lovely customer demanded that a company grant her access to a product that they didn't even sell in the first place. Yeah, kind of hard to troubleshoot that "issue."
The thing about Karens is that sometimes their self-centeredness bleeds into their ability to care for animals, like these fish that you really hope find a better home. Fine, have your standards about not wanting to give something to a "greedy" person, but dang lady, they're living things. This is why we can't have nice things. It's kind of like the time this pet store employee had to stop a Karen from torturing a starfish, or this influencer who left a fake review for stables and got decimated. Even if she doesn't learn her lesson, at least she won't be in the care of fish anymore.
Every relationship is different, but if meeting a new person results in any combination of "impossible to talk to," "lies a lot" or "smells bad" than that's gonna be a deal breaker, honey. We all have a limited time on this planet, and spending that time in stony silence or screaming rage with a person you're supposed to like isn't exactly an awesome use of that time. For some times people figured it out right away, here are first dates that made people go "screw this, I'm out."
Family photos can be an especially strange matter. Some folks really get in to making a whole tradition out of the dang thing. It sounds like this guy and his family have a potentially well founded superstition that's rooted in the belief that one's significant other can't be in the family photo unless the relationship's surpassed a year. Otherwise, apparently everything goes to sh*t.
It's unclear how anyone's life could be so devoid of joy that they'd go out of their way to rat out their coworker's for total non-issues, but for some reason every office has got a Mindy. Luckily this employee was able to twist things to make the rules work for them in a classic move of malicious compliance. Love is a crazy thing. It can come for you when you're least expecting it. Sometimes, when you're literally proactively avoiding someone. Yet, somehow that person who once drove you to the other side of the room from them ends up finding themselves in your good graces. Seagulls tend to find themselves in inappropriate places, whether it's a hotel room or in someone's face on a slingshot ride. Let's not act like they're the gentlemen of the sky. At least this bank employee was able to muster the courage and deposit this dude outside. Now he's free to live out his days outside of the bank. Unlike the bank employees, sadly.
