Robbery Thwarted By Quick-Thinking Gasoline Shooter

When these guys pulled their van up, they probably thought they had an easy victim; an unarmed person pumping gas. What they didn't think about what that that person did have something to fight with; the gas nozzle itself. It's unorthodox quick thinking, but it was effective. Being soaked with gasoline puts one at a major disadvantage during any altercation. Zoolander taught us that this kind of behavior is unadvisable, but it seemed like this person was left with no other option. Extra points for the spray he got in the van.

Gamer Sings For Life, Wholesome Gold Ensues

What a wonderful time to be alive. Just imagine a scenario where this guy sings a song in a video game, and so many people praise it online that he proceeds to get signed by an actual record label. Honestly, it seems like that's something that's already happened to someone out there.

Retired Middle School Teacher Shows Off Axe Throwing Skills

Axe throwing is absolutely no easy business. It takes a whole lot of focus and precision. Clearly though, this guy knows what he's doing. Pretty dang awesome.

Temp Tries To Get Employee Fired Behind Their Back

The real kicker here is that she had the irrational nerve to try and use them for a reference after this whole mess. Sounds like she's in dire need of a reality check.

Choosy Beggar Wants Homework Assignments Done Before Payment

The world's just never going to run out of terribly entitled, delusional, and downright cheap individuals that insist on wasting the time of sellers just trying to have a rational negotiation. It sounds like this choosing beggar wanted 22 homework assignments done, but without having to worry about paying for all that hard work. Yeah, good luck. For another ridiculous choosy beggar scenario check out this dude who complained about a $1 taco, and proceeded to get set straight by the owner

Woman Complains About Lousy Customer Service, Gets Called A Karen

The term "Karen" gets thrown around a whole lot these days. It's grown to be the go-to name to assign to anyone who insists on being a terribly entitled, straight up nasty human being to folks that are working customer service jobs. With all that being said, it seems like this woman was wrongly called a "Karen." She was dealing with some genuinely poor customer service, and decided to call the company out on it.

Dad Fires His Son for Stealing from Work

Nothing adds to the entitlement just like the whole "boss's kid" mentality. At least the dad went and did something about it. The kid even tried to frame another employee. For some more work-related foibles, here are the fastest ways people's co-workers got fired. For another kid stepping way over his bounds, here's a manipulative son who tried to sell his mom's house and cancelled her job interview.

Savvy Customer Accuses Karen of Being Manager

It's not uncommon for an irate Karen to find a fellow customer and assume they're an employee based on the color of their shirt. In typical hyper-aggressive Karen fashion, any attempt to let the Karen know that she is mistaken will be met with a "you're just a lazy employee who just doesn't want to help me." Cue this bystander who figure out a way to beat Karen at her own stupid game. Customer service is a wild game.

People Who Proved They Weren't The Dumb One

More often than not, the more ready someone is to call someone else an idiot, the higher chance they themselves are the true moron. People will double down and say some wildly dumb things, but rarely do we get to prove these people wrong. It's at least a little nice to challenge the absurd things people say in complete seriousness.

History Memes For The Besmartened

What is left out there for the splendiferously learned among us to laugh about? Perhamspnt must ye be learned enough that though shalt iimplore thine knowledge of the histories. Student Fails To Properly Check Backup Files Before IT Wipes Computer

Man oh man, let a story like this serve as a cautionary tale to anyone out there that's naively, proactively underestimating the importance of making sure that their backup files are in check. Fortunately, this student was able to eventually get the work that they needed to get done, done, and look back on their blunder with humor. For some more gold from the tech support world, check out this story about a customer who didn't trust a tech support employee's advice, and lived to regret it weeks later

Thread: Dude Wanders Into Creepy Fake Town

There are definitely fake towns out there, but the specifics of how staffed they might be is up for investigation. How does it feel to walk around in a government fabricated ghost town? Is security for these places really so bad that random people can just accidentally wander in? Wouldn't put it past 'em. It ranks up there with creepy moments people won't forget anytime soon.

Wildest Experiences Had By Delivery Drivers

Delivery drivers are on the literal frontlines of madness. They're forced to muddle through the kinds of disorienting interactions that'd otherwise leave any rational person hopelessly confused, if not completely enraged. Seriously, delivery drivers are continually put through the ringer. Maybe this AskReddit thread that's filled to the brim with crazy experiences had by delivery drivers will encourage you to treat your next delivery driver with just a little bit more respect.

Wholesome Gamers Throw Birthday Party For Lonely Kid

As people who have grown up playing video games, we scoff at the notion that video games inherently corrupt people and turn them into violent sociopaths. It's probably more likely that they just turn people into hardline capitalists determined to see how they can buff their intelligence with potions in order to siphon as much gold as possible out of their local apothecary. Video games give people a chance to nuke their fellow players out of orbit, but they also let us cooperate with people we might otherwise not, and sometimes that turns into wholesome moments such as this.

Twitter Thread: Dude Teams Up With Arizona Diamondbacks To Monitor Buddy's Date

Man, what a caring roommate this guy is. He decided to reach on out to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter to coordinate an effort to check in on his buddy's date from afar. Suffice to say, the mission was most successful. This will either warm people's hearts, or inspire folks to NOT share with their friends that they're on dates.

AskReddit Thread: Dumbest Things Students Got In Trouble For

School can get to be a very boring obligation, and it's only a matter of time before mischievous students end up stirring up some trouble to keep themselves entertained. With that being said, some actions absolutely don't warrant the punishments that they're met with. The folks in this AskReddit thread describe the most mind blowingly stupid things that they ended up getting busted for. Like, yo, let the kid look out the window and stare at the birds for a second.

Misfortune Monday: Why Should Anything Go Right?

Not trying to be a Charlie Brown here, but it's not like there's a natural law dictating that our lives must go perfectly. We just kind of have to hope our lives play out better than horribly and not let the setbacks get to us. That's a hard thing to do in a merciless world where things just keep happening, but we're basically out of options. The world is home to misfortune and chaos, and we are its roommates.
