'I read the book and I'm still gay': Man recalls how he accidentally came out to his ultra conservative college roommates via voicemail from the bookstore

The 90's was such a wild time. Everyone had an answering machine and voicemails were recorded then straight up broadcast in your home, spouting your business out loud to everyone within earshot and that was just a normal, accepted thing. An answering machine wouldn't be a problem if you lived alone, but the moment you live with other people, you share your voicemail (on your land line of course). There's no privacy there. One man, who lived in a big house of dudes when he was a college freshman in the 90's, embarrassingly faced the public humiliations at the hands of an answering machine in the absolute worst way. Hilariously, his story is a lot like a sitcom spoof of an embarrassing nightmare, but it unfortunately happened to him in real life.

'I cannot understand a word of that': Weirdo 'choosing beggar' demands seller bring stroller to them for free

Buying and selling items means interacting with random people who want your stuff — and sometimes they're a bit kooky in their demands. One person shared their experience with this. As they wrote on the r/ChoosingBeggars subreddit, their sister had to deal with this strange potential buyer as she was trying to offload a stroller. Right from the beginning, the potential buyer has an odd way of speaking, which probably didn't help their argument. They wanted the seller to hand deliver the package to them. For free. Who in the world would take that offer?

Scroll down to read the crazy drama, plus read what the commenters are theorizing about the buyer (they have some intriguing theories!) Then, dig through these crazy YouTube comments where people share their realest feelings and silliest thoughts.

'Our entire floor had to be jackhammered': Small shop's mistake causes huge pipe disaster

A small business owner shared their recent disastrous findings, and people can't believe their eyes!

Poor Sienna Studios just wanted to make some cute home decor items. They just didn't think about what might happen with the waste from their product creation until it was already too late.

20 Entitled People, Karens, and Choosing Beggars Who Wanted Everything For Nothing

Interacting with strangers is a curious thing: Two people with a lifetime of experiences… thoughts, ideals, goals, and passions; colliding together for a single moment (or mere moments), resulting in each person forming the static two-dimensional projection that is their impression of the other person.

How was that person in that moment? There are so many ways to define or categorize this: Were they amiable or antagonistic? If antagonistic, was that born from a lack of understanding — or a conflicting opinion or target goal? Who is to say what stresses or thoughts were affecting them at that moment that caused them to act in the way they did? I think it's pretty safe to say — if we're being completely honest with ourselves — that each of us has probably acted, at one point or another, in ways that were (otherwise) uncharacteristic of ourselves or didn't give the impression we would have liked to have given. Is there a chance that we've been the "Karen" or "Entitled Person" in someone else's life? Are we doomed to live forever in that moment in their mind?

Perhaps the people in this post don't deserve such consideration, but then again — maybe they do. Who am I to say? I'm just the guy dropping some philosophical thoughts that you didn't sign up for at the start of a list of images on the internet.

Family Gets Stuck at Mexico Boarder After Their Dog Locks Them Out of Car, Hilarious Problem-Solving Ensues

Crossing the boarder between the U.S. and Mexico is already unnecessarily stressful. You could be sitting in your car and know for a fact that you have no reason to get in any sort of trouble with boarder patrol, but will still be sitting there sweating.

20 People whose expensive mistakes cost them big

It only takes a second to change your life forever, as these people found out when caused some rather costly mishaps. Lots of people mess up installing TVs, like one person who forgot to check for studs before installing a new flat screen. That's just the tip of the iceberg, though. From smushed car doors to demolished art pieces, these people will be thinking of that one goof-up for a long time to come.

After that, help one Redditor decide their fate, as they shared this annoying message from their boss to r/antiwork for some fresh advice from the internet.

‘She threw me under the bus’: Diner worker gets shamed by manager for coffee order in front of customer, cue coffee-fueled malicious compliance

This diner worker brewed a coffee-fueled tale of malicious compliance! After being told by their manager that they were to only sell coffee in one size (12oz), they were later shamed by that very same manager in front of a customer for not using a larger size (30z) meant for soda orders. What happened next was something only a Redditor well-versed in malicious compliance could pull off.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/pressurecrocker, who explained that in order to get some sweet, petty revenge, they began to use the larger soda size every single time a customer suggested that they would want something larger than the 12oz coffee cup. That meant that they were brewing a ton of free coffee, but the manager couldn't get too mad considering that the Redditor was doing exactly what the manager shamed them into doing during that earlier encounter. There's nothing better than pointing out your manager's flaws by doing exactly what they told you to do. Keep scrolling below to read the full story.
