'Nobody wanted to go': Pregnant woman wonders if she's the AH for ruining the entire family's dinner reservations with her pizza craving

Pregnancy cravings are usually a hall pass for what would otherwise be problematic, antisocial, or just plain old strange food-based behavior. Suppose any other person started aggressively demanding that you get them a pizza from a specific corner store in Brooklyn an hour away, topped with an entire jar of pickles and mustard. You'd probably think that person was certifiably insane. But when the requester is, instead, a person who is growing an entire new person inside of them, we tend to just nod our heads and go, "Yeah, that sounds about right."

It makes sense and is totally fair, and for that reason, I think that this is the first time I've seen the internet side against a pregnant woman craving food. There were some specific actions and attitudes that led the readers to conclude that this poster was indeed in the wrong for their actions.

Keep reading to see the thread and responses, as posted to Reddit's r/AmItheA**hole subreddit. For more, check out this dispute that sparked when a pregnant woman wore her husband's underwear.

'I will never give notice again': Company revokes all worker's earned PTO after they give notice

The relationship between an organization and its workers is built upon trust. Once that trust is betrayed by a worker/workers, it's completely fair that the organization loses faith in those individuals. However, when the organization betrays the trust of one of its workers, it's only going to be natural for them to lose confidence in the organization. That's an important thing for employers to realize; if you do things like not honor accrued leave for an employee, other employees are going to find out. This is going to completely destroy the morale of your remaining team members and ensure that they don't give you any notice when they decide to leave as well. So, in this roundabout way, it's actually a good business decision to front the cost of something such as paying out leave. It's a cost of doing business, and maintaining trust, even with your departing employees, will only serve to help you in the long run.

A disgruntled worker shared this experience to Reddit's r/antiwork subreddit, claiming that their employer had refused to honor their accrued PTO once they handed in their notice. They had thought that they were doing the correct and honorable thing by giving their notice to their employer but felt that this had just come back to bite them.

'Terrible service, never coming back': Cranky Karen refuses to pay mandatory tip, rips up the check

The nerve of this Karen! Not only did she show up half an hour early and express frustration that she and her large group weren't seated immediately, but also she literally snapped at the host and later threw a fit when she wasn't given the check. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/F***YouKaren subreddit by u/Iam_Twitch.

First, let's be clear here: the mandatory 20% tipping policy for groups larger than six people is relatively standard. Secondly, that policy was bolded and in all caps on the menu, so the restaurant is certainly not at fault here. Finally, we're of the opinion that the restaurant should institute a new mandatory 20% tipping policy if you exhibit any kind of Karen behavior like, say, any of the s*** this Karen pulled. Keep scrolling below for the full account of the story. When you're done, here's another tale about an entitled Karen and Kevin screaming at a teenager.
