Everyone sit back and listen to feminist writer Naomi Wolf get respectfully called out for the fact that the historical thesis of her book is based entirely on HER misunderstanding of a legal term. Credit goes to the radio host for doing this in a composed, seemingly chill manner; but you still just can't escape the savagery. Mom had every right to be freaked out about a strange "spot" that appeared on the roof of her daughter's mouth. It looks all kinds of messed up. Panic mode was inevitable.
That being said, when things calmed down and further observation was taken, she learned that this sketchy "spot" was in fact a little piece of cardboard eaten up by her devious child. Phew, but damn that could've been a whole lot worse. A whole lot worse if the kid ate the cardboard, or if it was in fact an unexplained spot.

Sometimes the BS is so ripe you can just smell it falling out of people's mouths. In these situations people could smell the lie from a mile away, and ended up being right. As much as you don't want to get caught up in the middle of an, "I called it!" moment, it is strangely satisfying to know that you were right about the BS all along.
