'My nephew outsourced his chores': 20 Lazy people who are also really clever problem-solvers

Lazy people know how to get things done fast so that they have more time for chillin' out. Whether in the workplace or in real life, people often assume that laziness is a bad thing. But in reality, it's good to take lots of breaks and take life slow sometimes. And we all should know by now that worrying about work too much can take a toll on your health. If you can do your work quickly and efficiently, why should it matter how long it actually takes to complete your tasks

The stories below are so satisfying. It turns out that a lot of "lazy" people become engineers or working in STEM fields, because they're really good at finding the fastest way to do something. I'm incredibly jealous of the people who managed to automate the heck out of their jobs, working just a few hours per week!

'The customer decides when they are...ready to leave': Friend group splits over golfing etiquette

Mini golfing is so superior to regular golf. In this essay I will…

I'm so serious: mini golf is clearly the better game. Regular golf requires one to have some golfing skills already, since you have to hit the ball many yards away. You walk around a course filled with grass, sand, maybe a few lakes or whatever. Nature? Wow, how interesting.

Mini golf on the other hand, requires no prior golfing skills. All you have to do is putt along the course, while enjoying windmills, rolling hills, and usually lots of themed decorations. The balls are colorful, people of all ages can join in, and the courses are full of fun decor that you don't get to see every day. This is the life, and I think it should be an official professional sport in the same way regular golfing is.

Plus, have you ever been to a mini golf course that's UV or glow in the dark themed? That's a top-tier way to spend an afternoon. However, these folks below spent their time playing a type of regular golf — technically just practicing at a hitting bay. These friends disagreed over their own game of golf, and you can check out their story below. Then check out a fine selection of hand-picked memes

'I'm moving out': Woman demands 50% rent payment from roommate despite setting her bed up in living room, roommate moves out

When signing a lease for an apartment, it seems a reasonable ask and a fundamental part of the contract to receive an actual room with a door for basic privacy reasons. Apparently, this is not always the case, and some people settle for living conditions that you wouldn't wish upon your Karen coworker. OP convinced her friend to come live with her in a 'cheap' apartment and to pay 50% of the rent, despite giving her friend a bed in the living room. OP said that a divider was a good enough means for privacy, but after a year, her friend realized she could actually afford to live alone in a place where she would have her own room.

OP's friend approached OP and told her she was giving her one month's notice and moving out. OP was furious and felt completely abandoned… but if we're being honest—OP also knew that nobody else in their right mind would rent out a small space in her living room with a divider for 50% of the rent, so she demanded her roommate stay.

The entitlement is off the charts. Scroll down to read exactly what happened next. For more stories like this, here is a manager who 'fired' his employee per a customer's request to get even with their Karen attitude and to see what reaction it would evoke.

‘My boss gave the new hire my promotion, so I quit’: Employee quits after being denied promotion; VP fires new hire, demands employee be reinstated

It's ironic how few effective management skills are on display in some "managers" and how leadership abilities are systematically all ranging about the same average, which is a big, fat zero. Managers love a good buzzword, but action orientation is not their strong suit. In this case, OP was working as a top-producing salesperson, in charge of training several salespeople and getting their numbers up, which OP did well. An opportunity for a promotion popped up, and OP thought they had the experience as well as the skills needed for the new position. Unfortunately, his general manager ended up giving the promotion to someone who had no experience in the sales field whatsoever.

OP's manager then told OP he was going to introduce him to his new boss. OP was in a state of fury and dismay, at a loss for why his boss would give someone underqualified the position that he was overqualified for. So when OP was introduced to the new hire, OP stared him straight in the eyes and said, "I quit." He then grabbed his belongings and stomped out of the place, not bothering to put in his two-week notice, which forfeited him two weeks' pay.

After the VP heard of the whole debacle, he was less than pleased. Scroll down to read what happened next. For more stories like this, here are some LinkedIn posts that earn an award in 'cringe.'
