Seriously, the Irish are absolutely not to be underestimated when it comes to just how creative and staggeringly ruthless they can get when it comes to drumming up rare insults directed toward people's fashion choices. But hey, maybe you're someone who enjoys setting yourself up for a proper roasting. It can be genuinely entertaining to see what kinds of insults people will come up with when they're put to the challenge.
My dude, this is clearly not the way. This guy had the audacity to ask his girlfriend to pay him for a ride, just because she would've paid the Uber driver that she'd normally have called, anyways. Um, what happened to helping your partner out and not expecting anything in return? This relationship's showing an alarming sign of going nowhere fast. You can probably imagine what folks had to say about the whole thing in the comments section.
Going into someone's house is like peering into a window into their soul. Well, a house also has windows, so it's more like being in the house of their soul. It's like being in their house. Sometimes normal people have strange habits like sleeping in their clothes or having a couch just for American Girl dolls. Sometimes extremely weird people live exactly how you'd expect. It seems like the situational awareness might be lacking a bit for dad here. More often than not you'd think that any parent would want to provide their full support for any kids they have that might need to make a necessary getaway from a situation that made them unsettled. It sounds like the daughter in this scenario was around some people that were making her uncomfortable, but dad didn't think that that warranted a free Uber ride. Let's just say his chosen stance ended up landing him in some hot water. Who knows though? Maybe it was an astronomically expensive ride, and money's tight around the house. The fact that the mom reacted like she did though would hint that dad was acting a bit out of line.
We've all been caught up in impossibly draining fits of boredom while we were muddling through the education system. Some days really did feel like they were never going to end. Well, teachers can get bored too. Sometimes all of this boredom results in moments of complete and utter chaos. People in IT get some tall orders, especially when they're trying to help the kind of people who think that smoke is a feature of their device. Not only do they have to contend with people who have no idea what they're doing, they also have to deal with people who think they know what they're doing, like this gentleman. Anyway, here are some IT memes for the people really holding up society as we know it.
For some reason it's almost a little reassuring that we aren't the only ones making dumb financial decisions and horrible business ideas. In a way it's nice that the people who head multi-billion dollar companies can have worse leadership skills than your uncle who keeps trying to get you to "loan" him your savings so he can start a caviar farm.
This isn't the first time that we've come across an employee being given a hard time over not handing out their own hard-earned vacation hours, and we certainly doubt that it'll be the last time. When this employee decided that they weren't comfortable handing over their vacation hours to a coworker who was definitely going through a hard time, they proceeded to get ganged up on by their coworkers. The fact that the boss put up a spreadsheet that showed everyone's vacation hours is pretty shady as well.
We're going to go out on a limb here (/s) and say that the girlfriend is definitely NOT in the wrong here. There is nothing worse than thinking you're at (your own) home totally alone only to be interrupted and caught in an embarrassing position.
I mean c'mon, who doesn't walk around in their birthday suit when they're home alone and there is nobody else around. I mean it would be weird not to, right?
Clearly, she's in her own space doing her own thing and doing something she enjoys. It's unfortunate that her boyfriends surprise went afoul but maybe he'll learn to give his partner a heads up next time when he is bringing his parents home.
But to go as far as being mad at her for his own mistake is just completely out of bounds. That's where he crosses the line.

This pro revenge story is something special. Specifically because this guy and the mechanic were able to sort out their differences when it was all said and done. Naturally, Twitter had some funny feelings about the whole thing.
The reality is that countless fed up employees out there come to a point where they don't end up quitting their jobs, they just go ahead and quit their bosses. It sounds like this employee was dealing with just a bit of an infuriatingly inconsiderate boss. Vacations are instrumental toward a general sense of well being and productivity from employees. Otherwise, the burnout is pretty much inevitable. It sounds like this employee hit their breaking point. The research and malicious compliance that ensued sure is something sweet. Relationships are never perfect. At best they can be a little bit messy. People are complicated, emotions are complex and when you take that to the second power with two individuals things escalate exponentially. We've seen some pretty crazy stories in the past.
It then becomes a bit like the monkey with the typewriter thing... Give enough monkeys enough chances to date other monkeys and you're going to end up with some pretty wild outcomes.
We've all probably experienced (or caused) an absolutely gut-wrenching, heart-breaking end to a relationship. Even if we ourselves knew, deep down, that it was for the best.
Some things aren't made to last...but these poor blokes share that moment that they KNEW it had to end.
Just because someone's further on in their years than you, and aggressively insists that they've seen it all, doesn't for one second guarantee that they actually know what they're talking about. Unfortunately, many of us have fallen prey to exaggerated warnings that we received when younger and impressionable that ended up not being applicable to much of life at all as we get older. Maybe some of these will strike a chord.
