Woman Steals Roommate's Cat, Wonders if He's Wrong

Reddit's AITA subreddit often presents us with complicated social situations where different considerations and ethical reasoning could make the decision go in either direction. This is not one of those times.

This woman saw fit to make off with his roommate's cat, citing the roommate's lack of attentiveness to the pet as her justification and reason. The internet has swiftly condemned her actions, calling her a thief and kidnapper and declaring her actions completely unjustified.

The woman writes that her roommate, Karl, "Wasn't the greatest of owners," mentioning that "While he did take care of the cat's food, water and litterbox, he ignored her existence almost entirely." She then goes on to explain how she bonded with the cat and began to resent its owner for keeping it inside all the time, taking that cat on outdoor adventures.

Once moving out, the woman returned with a key that she had inexplicably kept and staged the apartment to make it look like the cat had run away, taking it for her own. It was only when a friend pointed out that perhaps this wasn't the most ethical thing to do that the user turned to Reddit's r/AmItheA**hole subreddit to see if she was in the wrong.

Readers were shocked; they quickly and almost unanimously declared the woman to be the "a-hole."

Top 20 Impressively Terrible Designs of the Week (February 17, 2023)

What in the world were they thinking when they designed this stuff? With all the technology available to us, you'd think that there would be no more badly designed items. And yet here are a bunch of pieces of furniture, signs, and even one tragic balcony, which are all designed to function poorly.

The person who has the "tombstone" advertisement has my sympathies, although I don't understand how no one told them what it looked like before they posted it! Also, I'm curious who else absolutely loves that odd chair that looks like it would be a literal pain in the a** to sit in! Terrible design, maybe, but beauty is pain, darling.

After you check out this latest batch of failed designs, why not look at a singular sign fail? This dude shared their boss's outrageous "on call" demands for the world to see, then commenters advised them exactly how to sue their company.

'WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?': Dawn patrol worker who's woken up repeatedly by a drunken ditzy girl with the wrong number gets petty revenge at 4AM when he starts his shift

Drunk people can be the worst sometimes– especially when you're sober. The worst thing about drunk folks can be their brash behavior and inability to recognize social cues, boundaries, and appropriate protocol. One man, a morning shift worker who was preparing for a 4AM shift, became the brunt of classic drunkard antics one Saturday evening, but quickly got his revenge.

u/itzpiiz, let's call him 'Piz', got mercilessly hounded by a ditzy drunk girl one night. The drunkard had the wrong number and was clearly belligerently wasted the first time she called Piz, constantly asking for "Steve" and ignoring Piz's pleading that she had the wrong number. As Piz prepared for his early shift, he got to bed by 9pm, but was woken several times by the drunk girl, who called nearly every hour until his shift started. Annoyed and unable to turn his phone off (since it was his alarm), Piz brewed an angry hatred towards this drunk girl and plotted his revenge.

At 3:30am, when he woke for work, Piz started a series of calls to the drunk girls number, incessantly calling her every 15 minutes (just as she did to him) throughout his early morning shift. Finally she cracked, crying on the phone, asking why he was doing this to her. Well, quite frankly, it sounds like the drunk girl completely deserved that punishment and will maybe think twice the next time she tries to harass someone.

'Her face go[es] to shock as she realized she just did all of that in front of a police officer': Rude Karen dismisses construction workers, proceeds to ruin her own life in one afternoon

One Karen ruined her life in a spectacularly fast fashion after getting into a squabble with a construction crew who was just trying to keep a parking spot open. Lots of Karens mess around and find out, but this entitled mom was especially punished for her deeds!

As the OP u/BBQLunch, wrote in a classic r/ProRevenge post, they work as a foreman on construction projects, and were working on a rather difficult project on the day of the incident. As they were trying to block off the street so that they could carry materials up a hill, this woman decided to park right where they were working. Since the site was near the local elementary school, she kept insisting that she'd only be parked for a few minutes. Uhh, that's not how reserved parking spaces work! So the OP called the police on this mad woman, and truly spectacular amounts of chaos reigned.

After scrolling through this timeless Karen classic, read about this person's petty revenge plan for their group project full of slackers.
