One of the most annoying things about programming is when you get stuck on an issue, look up said issue, and find somebody asking the exact same question – followed by either (a) no answers at all or worse (b) "never mind, I figured it out". Another frustrating thing is when management just doesn't understand programming but wants to micromanage it anyway. Memes are essential to release the stress and anxiety one accumulates when working in tech. So these will provide a much needed break, as they are the best tool available for procrastination. What's especially remarkable here is how poorly run this little business scheme was. Hopefully, now the Redditor's girlfriend, who is a night shifter, can count on getting some sleep during the day. This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Intelligent_Cup4116, who is the fiancé's sister. She recounted the story from a perspective that also reads as insanely problematic. The fact that there is no evidence of any real wrongdoing besides the fiancé's past "popularity" just goes to show how backward our society is. And say it with me, everyone: if the gender roles were reversed, this would not be happening.
