The Teen Behind the 'Damn, Daniel
The teen who filmed the 'Damn, Daniel' meme has been swatted, a term that's showing up more often as having a SWAT team called on someone as a prank becomes more and more common. Police in Riverside, California were called to his house to investigate a claim that the teen had shot his mom. When they arrived they discovered that it was "all a hoax".
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The police currently have no leads on who could have made the fake emergency call.

The Addition of a '666' Bus in Singapore Spawns so Many Satan Jokes
People in Singapore are having a devil of a time deciding what to do about the new '666' bus line. 666 is considered by the superstitious to be the "number of the beast" in reference to Satan. Some of the Facebook comments on the Land Transport Authority announcement say using this number is insensitive. Others argue that it's perfectly reasonable.
The rest of the commenters just showed up to make jokes.
