Oil Rig Roughnecks are Giving TikTokers an Insight Into the Tough Blue Collar Lifestyle That They Love

For these workers, it's more than just a job, it's their place of escape, it's where their second family is, it's their home away from home.

Fed Up Teachers Get Revenge on Head of Department, Ensure She Has to Go Without Her Morning Coffee

These teachers got cold and calculated revenge on their "nightmare" Head of Department by ensuring that she repeatedly had to go without her morning cup of coffee.

Whatever she did to these poor souls, she can't have done anything terrible enough to warrant this. It's a cruel act indeed to deprive someone of that essential morning cup of life's essence. Although, if she's that nasty, maybe she needs to cut back on the caffeine a little bit anyways.

This story was originally posted by u/Outside-Question to the r/pettyrevenge subreddit, and it lives up to that name's promise.

u/Outside-Question describes that the staff have had "serious problems" with their Head of Department in the past. She is also an absolute coffee addict and is highly particular about how she takes her cup of joe. This left the perfect opportunity for her underlings to enact small doses of petty revenge upon her.

As commenters have already suggested, if you're going to be a terrible boss, you should probably avoid divulging your weaknesses to your underlings.

Sketchy Choosing Beggar Offers Pay In Exposure, Gets Treated Like The Clown He Is

Things. We want them. The thing about things, as well as services, is that they take time, effort, skill and materials to produce. And in turn, those things cost money. Pretty much everyone agrees on this. Except for some potential employers. There's a type of person who thinks that, just by telling someone what to do, that in and of itself is an opportunity.

"Make me a thing," they say.

"Please give me money for that thing" is the reasonable response.

"How dare you suggest that you deserve money for that thing." they say back, like an idiot. "I'll give you some later. Also don't you have passion for this work? What's wrong with you?"

This kind of sentiment is often directed at potential employees or contractors, when in reality, it should only be said to holes in the ground before promptly being buried, where those words belong.

Here's a guy who demanded work be done in exchange for nothing other than "that work being done," and upon being challenged at this stupid offer, assured OP that they make fat stacks. Very cool, man.

For another person who didn't really understand what money is, here's the Karen who didn't understand why she couldn't buy a showpiece or why work costs money.

Entitled Wife Promises Her Son A Car, Disappointed Her Husband Doesn't Buy One

So this guy goes and buys a car for his biological son's 18th birthday. The kid is disabled and needs the car to get to school. It sounds pretty reasonable.

Meanwhile, this lady's son (husband's stepson) is about to turn 16. She decides that obviously, there's another car coming this way. She basically promises this kid a car, insinuating along the whole way that he's getting one. Of course, she has no proof or confirmation that such a car gift exists. She's just making an assumption rather than, y'know, openly communicating with her husband. Because who would ever think to do something like that?

So push comes to shove, and this kid gets a brand new gaming console. Something most of us would be pretty happy to receive. The thing is, this gaming console doesn't have four tires and a steering wheel. It's not the car that she dreamed up in her head, so naturally, someone is at fault. Pretty cool stuff. The internet let her know what was up.

People And Things That Got A Disproportionate Amount Of Hate

It's fun to collectively hate things. Once you've established a cultural whipping boy or boogeyman, it's kind of okay to say whatever you want about someone, whether or not the mockable thing they do is really within much of their control. The cultural bandwagon is a hard thing to ignore. When there's a single face for something a lot of people don't necessarily love, it's extremely easy to say "Nickelback sucks."

Once the joke of "Nickelback sucks" became a thing, even people who never heard the music were right there, itching for the opportunity to say that they sucked. Whether they suck is honestly up to you. But the amount of sheer hatred a person, place or thing might get for decades might not be proportional to the amount of evil they do in the world.

Guy Fieri might not wear shirts that you like. You might find it gauche that he wears his sunglasses on the back of his head, and his facial hair is a cartoon. But the same time, there are a million other actual violent criminals and corrupt politicians who are actually doing evil things in this world. It just so happens that very few of them have a show on the Food Network.

25 Blursed Images Of Concerning Hilarity

Blessed images and cursed images. They are basically opposites. One serves to create while the other is used to destroy. But like many opposing things, they make a unique and highly piquant pairing. It's like peanut butter and jelly. Or peanut butter and chocolate. Maybe in the case of blursed images, it's like using peanut butter to get gum out of your hair. Still weird, but there's kind of a point.

What makes something truly blursed? It's hard to tell. Maybe the fact that it's not 100 percent cursed or 100 percent blessed. It is a happy medium between freakishly terrifying and feel-good. It could still be cute, it could still be awful, but it as that extra little push into the absurd. Maybe it just reminds us of our mental state at any given time. Maybe we all lead blursed lives without even really thinking about it.

Anyway, here's a bunch of meat Jenga, pizza chihuahuas and floor chess. It's a good time.

Insane Neighbor Lets Her Dogs Attack a Delivery Driver Because She Doesn't Want to Yell In Front of Her Children

There are crazy, terrible neighbors… and then there's Jackie.

u/Wednesdaynevermore (OP) shared this riveting tale today to the r/entitledparents subreddit. The subreddit describes itself as "a place you can put all those wonderful stories of moms or dads thinking that because they have kids, they are entitled to everything."

u/Wednesdaynevermore (OP) describes the saga of their entitled neighbor Jackie, who sounds like an absolute wreck of a human being. She describes Jackie as "One of the most selfish and entitled people I've ever come across."

Further, her children are wholly unhinged and haven't fallen far from the tree. OP describes some of their insane escapades and Jackie's complete ambivalence to her children's behavior.

OP describes this specific incident where Jackie failed to control her dogs when they attacked a delivery driver.

"I ran around the side of the building and saw her dog chasing the driver back to his truck. The dude was clearly terrified."

Jackie thinks nothing of this and continues with her inane existence.

A fraud and a garbage human being. Consider yourself lucky if you don't live next to a Jackie.
