Funny Signs Kids Are Dumb As Heck

There are a whole lot of signs that kids are dumber than bushels of hammers. Most of us having been kids, it should be no surprise why they're dumb. But at the same time, it sure is a weird reminder of I time back when we used to think car blinkers were magic turn predictors. Kids are so dumb and weird they're almost a different species.

Tumblr Thread: Humans Consume Toxic Plants For Fun

Human beings are so preoccupied with our fears and perceived frailty that sometimes we overlook the fact that things like coffee and hot peppers are the way they are so that certain animals and pests can't eat them. So puff that chest out and remember that when you order latte that you're basically eating pesticide because it makes you focus better at work. For more tumblr discussion on the wonders of the human condition, here's a story about aliens having to fight bears when they invade earth.

Making a Steel Sphere with an Explosion

So, usually in metalworking, you'd shape stuff by with a punch or a press. At least that's what Wikipedia says. Wikipedia also says that  hydroforming is the process of shaping metal using water pressure. For materials that are too strong or large for traditional hydroforming, one option is explosive forming, sometimes called explosive hydroforming. That's where the pressure used to shape metal comes from, you guessed it, an explosion. This ends our remedial knowledge of the complex processes involved with metalworking. Just watch the thing go bang.

Pat Sajak's Scooby Doo Impression Is Violently Off-Putting

We've all had that moment. Something comes into your head and you think "this is gonna be great." So you do your unrehearsed impression of Ronald Reagan and you suddenly realize that it sounds like a sick Vincent Price. Luckily for you, you didn't do that on national television. It sounds like Pat Sajak is going for a Scooby Doo laugh, but it sounds more like a dolphin with its mouth full of Scrappy Doo.

Woman With Double Mastectomy Told To Wear Bra In Pool, Malicious Compliance Ensues

Usually, rules make things run more smoothly. That said, when we find an exception to a strictly enforced policy, the powers that be start to panic. The pool had its coverage rules, but this woman had an extremely good reason for why this particular case didn't make sense, and forced the situation into its own kind of absurdity. For another wonderful interpretation of nonsensical policies, here's the guy who was forced into a stupid loophole by a Korean bank, and it worked.

The Strangest Compliments People Received

Being complimented is great, especially if it's on a feature you've worked on, like having shapely calves or a distinct smell of sandalwood and coca butter. But sometimes we get compliments that we don't expect, and they always seem to reveal more about the giver of the compliment than the recipient. Like, if someone tells you that your eyes are so beautiful that they want to pop them out and roll them around in their mouth a few times, you've just learned 3 or 4 other new things. Here are some more of the weirdest compliments people received.

90s Toys R Us Pics To Unleash The Nostalgia

As a kid growing up in the 90s, we didn't have all these fancy online retailers and voice-activated machines waiting to listen to our every command. We had a big giant store filled with Game Boys, Power Rangers, Legos and Demo N64s that felt like walking into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, but without all the OSHA noncompliance. We aren't sure why we're so obsessed with this time in our lives, and we don't have the emotional bandwidth to unpack why that is, but here are some more 90s toys to get absolutely ripped on nostalgia.

Worker Gets Put on Performance Review and Banned From Working From Home Right Before Working From Home Becomes Mandatory

The classic blunder, handout a punishment with explicit terms only to have it backfire terribly when the subordinate complies to your every demand... The monkey's paw curls

Everyone could use a little bit of Joe in their lives. He's the guy who stands up for himself and his peers and isn't afraid of any repercussions that might be directed his way. He takes it on the chin and continues to steer those above him in the right direction. There's nothing like when someone has to admit their incompetence in order to reverse your malicious compliance.

World's Worst Sister Creates TikTok Playing Victim For Car Accident She Caused

This has got to be the world's worst sister. Her dangerous actions, recklessness and substance abuse caused an accident that resulted in serious trauma and injury to her younger sister. Absolutely, this girl needs to seek help and deal with her demons and seek to right her wrongs... but claiming to be the victim in the entire situation is not the correct way to go about doing this.

One things for sure, bad siblings are a guaranteed way to cause conflict in your life.

IT Guy Makes Unintentionally Hilarious Presentation About WAPs

Nothing like a good pop hook to ruin something that would otherwise be totally innocuous.

It was probably only a matter of time until this exact scenario occurred. Something, something, monkeys with typewriters.

This is probably the most harmless tifu you could possibly have which makes it all the more hilarious. It is easy to picture the others in the meeting cracking a smile and trying desperately not to laugh at the repeated "WAP, WAP, WAP".

Husband Drains His Entire Savings By Paying Off All His Parent's Debt Without His Wife's Consent

Commenters have been asking for some more of these that aren't so black and white and tread a little bit further into the areas of grey. Hopefully this one ticks a couple boxes on either side of the line enough to fall a bit further into that category.

Clearly this guy was trying to do the right thing. Those of us who have had supporting parents (or guardians/support structures) who have given everything for us know exactly this emotion. I've certainly thought and fantasized about doing exactly this. Who wouldn't want to ease their parents lives or buy them the car of the dreams. Especially given the fact that his father is disabled. Dude is just trying to help out.

What I'm saying is.... I get it. BUT. He should have gotten approval from the wifey and made sure that she was fully on board with this before dumping their savings down the drain. One thing is certain and that is that you will always find dissonance in relationships where people aren't on the same page.

Woman Kicks Her Roommate Out After She Finds That She Had Been Stealing From Her

This AITA story might have the easiest answer of them all. In no way are you in the wrong if you evict someone from your house for stealing from you. That's, like, the most normal and logical thing that you could possibly do given the circumstances. Yeah, it sucks that they are a friend of a friend and this could cause discord in that relationship... but if they have any shred of decency they would realize that maybe they shouldn't be friends with that person either.

The person who commented that the poster should go through the proper channels to legally remove this unwanted guest gave some properly solid advice. Best to keep them out and away in all possible ways.

Brother Gives Pregnant Sister Cleaning Bill When He Refuses to Pull Over and Forces Her to Urinate in His Truck

This ones has a pretty easy answer. Guy is an absolute arsehole with the way that he treats his sister. Then he has the GALL to ask her and her husband to pay the cleaning costs for the truck.

The thing that sets this post apart from the others is that the guy actually takes the feedback, reflects on it, and then apologizes to his sister. Honestly, it takes at least a decent sense of self awareness and quite a lot of caring in order to be able to make a change to your stance like that.

So, although he was in the wrong to start with, kudos to him for making the change and righting the wrong.

Woman Sets Rude Neighbor Straight, Tells Her That Her Husband Isn't the Catch She Thinks He Is

The absolute savagery of this woman knows no bounds. If this had been me this would have been what I would have wanted to say but would have never had the gall to. Even then I wouldn't have thought of it until later when I was in the shower or playing over the interaction in my head in the middle of the night.

The thing is, this probably wasn't the most mature route to take... Like we're definitely not looking at the high road here. But at the same time... can you blame her for blasting back? She may not be making any friends or doing herself any favors but sometimes you just need to set someone like this straight. Or so I'm told, because I'd never actually be able to do this.

Redditor Tells the Epic Tale of the Game 'Creatures' and the Troll Who Trained the AI to Only Feel Pain

Buckle up because this one is a ride and a half... but it is an absolute heck of a story. Hats off to SplugyA for putting this masterpiece of a story together about the exploits of 'Creatures' players.

SplurgyA spells it out in great detail but essentially 'Creatures' was a game that let you hatch and raise races of creatures that were essentially Artificial Intelligence that could undergo Pavlovian learning. A few dastardly players figured out that, just like Sims players did, you could mistreat your creatures to mould them into pitiful and horrible beings.

Read on into this masterpiece.
