Let's be honest, we all got a little too comfortable with working from home. That is nowhere near a complaint, we all know that being in the office for about 75% of computer-based jobs does not actually correlate with doing your job better. We know it, our bosses know it, but there is rent that has to be paid, thus we must accept the rules splayed out in front of us. Maybe when we run our own businesses we can prioritize finding a system that allows for people to work from home the majority of the time, but then how will we know our coworkers? Wow, look as, getting emotional about our non-existent businesses with non-existent employees. We must really be losing it. Mom Installs GPS Tracker in Unlicensed Teen's Car & It backfires!

This Mom thought outlining the tires with chalk and installing a GPS tracker would stop her unlicensed teenage daughter from taking out her car when her parents weren't home. Rookie mistake.

 

This thread, which was posted on Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Dry_Tumbleweed_862, basically shows how this mother has no idea how to discipline her daughter at this point. First, they should never have bought her a car before the daughter officially got her license (what rich nonsense is that?). 

 

We understand that the intent was to make her feel comfortable in a vehicle before taking the driving test, but just make her comfortable in your car then. Buying a 15-year-old something and then subsequently restricting its use is way more complicated than just waiting till after the kid has earned her own car. 

 

And while we're on this subject, why restrict its use but not take the keys from her? You might as well give her a bottle of Vodka and say "but don't drink it." She's a teenager. She's going to drink it, Mom.

 

The moral of the story here is that coming up with elaborate ways to "track" your daughter's inability to follow the rules is more challenging than just doing a better job of establishing ground rules and making them feel as high stakes as they are.

Vacation Karen Tries to Embarrass Travel Agent in Front of Other Clients, Backfires

In entirely predictable Karen fashion, this Karen decided that the travel agency owed her a free trip to make up for her trip that was canceled in 2020 in addition to the refund they had already issued her for the originally scheduled trip. It's like splitting teeth dealing with people like this, who have unfortunately been trained by a system where the squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease. So they insist on squeaking louder and louder for more grease, despite never needing any in the first place.

Girlfriend Cooks 100 Wings for Significant Other's Friend Group. They Leave Only 3 for Her.

This woman cooked a feast of wings for her boyfriend's friend group, left the room for just 15 minutes to hop on a call, and returned to find only 3 wings left for her.

 

As someone who can barely cook eggs, I am unable to put myself in this lady's shoes; however, I am mature enough to know that leaving only 3 chicken wings for the host who spent hours cooking for you is an act of true villainy.

 

Let's also take a second to do some math here. The original poster, who shared her story via this thread on Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit, mentioned in the comments that she hosted 6 people that night. Six. This means that each individual consumed approximately 16 wings in 15 minutes. One has to wonder if she hosted 6 humans or 6 bears. Apparently one of these bears promised to make it up to the Redditor by gifting her a lobster roll. I'll bet $10 that it's delivered half-eaten.

Terrible Roommate Tries to Bully Roommates, Shocked When They Move Out

Well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions?.. That's exactly what this abhorrent roommate must have been thinking when her roommates announced they were moving out after she decided to make their lives a living hell. 

The terrible roommate had decided that she was "unhappy" and was going to move out prior to her discovery that she was getting a steal of a deal for her BigMac supersized room. So, instead of moving out and putting herself in an inferior position… somewhere in that twisted brain, she decided that she would pay back her roommates for perceived wrongdoings. 

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit by Redditor u/saft_bill, one of the roommates that decided to move out. They shared their story on the popular revenge subreddit with the title "Don't intimidate your roommates", referring to their roommate's actions that triggered the revenge.
