'What a way to start the new year': New Dad demands girlfriend take a paternity test, comes out negative but she leaves him anyway

2023 definitely started off on a bad note for this couple! Despite zero evidence or reason to suspect anything, this new dad demanded that his girlfriend take a paternity test out of the blue. Mind you, their baby is already a few months old and the couple had been together for three years.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit, and in her post, the Redditor reveals that although she has agreed to take the paternity test because she doesn't have anything to hide, she is already making plans to leave this guy as soon as he gets the results back. According to folks in the comments section, it's very possible that this dude has been cheated on before and is traumatized, or perhaps he is looking for a desperate way out of fatherhood. Regardless, it may be a New Year, but the always-relevant solution of "Some guys should just go to therapy instead of destroying everything" still applies. Keep scrolling below for the full story. '[I shouldn't have to] give up my chosen seat for their inability to plan': Redditors Applaud Person Who Rufuses to Give Up Pre-Paid Seat on a Delta Flight for a Couple to Sit Together

Flying is stressful no matter what. Even if you do it all the time and you feel like you have mastered it, there is always something that is somewhat of an inconvenient. Anything from you forgot your neck pillow on a lengthy flight, to complete cancellations and unhelpful customer service. These are just things you know are a possibility when you sign up for a flight. There are somethings you can do to ensure it's stress-free, like paying extra to book the exact seat you want. Unfortunately, you still run the risk of someone not planning ahead and asking you to switch, putting you in a very awkward position.

This recently happened to a person on a Delta flight and they took to Reddit to ask if they were in the right for refusing to switch. The person had planned ahead and pre-paid for a certain aisle seat. However, the guy sitting in the middle of their row asked if they would mind switching with his girlfriend so they could sit together. The only issues was, this guy's girlfriend was sitting five rows back and was also in an uncomfortable middle seat. The person who spent good money to sit where he was said no and the guy was very upset with him.

Eventually they got some other sucker to switch seats with them, but the couple still gave the original guy the stink eye the rest of the flight. Redditors, however, are 100% on his side, saying that this couple had no right to feel entitled to a seat switch.
