Yes, that striking soul-piercing blue lake in Siberia that Instagram influencers are migrating towards in the chase for the next great selfie, is actually a toxic waste dump. The company that uses the lake to dump waste for the Heating and Electric Station No. 5 was forced to release a statement amidst the aggressive, mindless stupidity. The statement reads at one point, "you can not swim in the ash dump."
Buzzfeed even reports that one dedicated influencer described the water as "warm and tastes sweet-ish." You can't make this level of stupid up. It's as if it walked off the script of a post apocalyptic movie itself.
Are these the end times? A bunch of influencers blinded by their own lust for social media viral fame that they disregard viable statements from concerned officials; and proceed to swim around in toxic waste dumps? We sincerely hope that everyone ends up being alright.

As far as customer service stories go, this is some comedy gold. Our friendly and knowledgable Subway employee found himself making a "Veggie Delight" sandwich for a vegan customer who didn't realize that mayonnaise was NOT vegan, because it has eggs in it. Sometimes the truth hurts, and it sounds like it was a bit of a bummer for this vegan. I mean hey, knowledge is power. You live and you learn.

She's alright, and already out of the hospital. Apparently the group had been standing within 10 feet of the animal for about 20 minutes, which is advised against. This mostly serves as a reminder to not get really close to bison. They are huge and will mess you up. Here's another guy who challenged a bison at Yellowstone if you need more evidence to not mess with bison. Twitter responded with a lot of comments about how it's weird her parents just ran out of the way leaving her to get tossed.

We've seen some incredibly entitled moms, but the level of pettiness here is commendable. This dog owner got a text out of the blue because a friend of a friend heard her dog has a name she wants to use for her new baby. Common sense would dictate that you could just name the baby anyway, but demanding to "un-name" a stranger's dog is laughable. Besides, the dog had the name first.

This clip from Live PD features a cop questioning a dude who was clearly hot boxing his car. The cop goes on to say he'd make a good meme and that if he had a camera he'd be on the front page of reddit. Lo and behold, they're literally being filmed, and within hours of this video being uploaded to Youtube, it found its way to the front page of r/videos. Sometimes things just work out like that.
