20+ Coworker Memes of the Week for Understaffed Teams of Employees (March 9, 2023)

A workplace doesn't necessarily need to be super comfortable (adorned with giant beanie bags, high-tech style), but it should at the very least, be a fair zone. Examples of fairness include there being enough staff… AKA, no understaffed teams of employees struggling to keep up with way too much work. Along with a lack of proper compensation, which unfortunately seems to go hand in hand with that.

Management is always on the lookout for how to make workers' lives more uneasy as if that is going to benefit them somehow. Is there a brain somewhere in that empty space in the middle of their head? I genuinely think not. It gets tiring ogling at the negative zeros in your bank account (AKA, my bank account). But hey, work has its perks, such as coworkers. Sure, you're gonna have to deal with a few Karens, but there is always that one coworker you can count on.

'The greatest revenge I could have ever imagined': Jealous landlord gets his own words thrown back in his face years after overcharging tenant

As a renter, you're at the mercy of your landlord. One new renter found out the hard way that you have to be careful who you trust with your personal information… His terrible landlord found out that he and his wife were trying to be frugal while saving up for a home in the 1990s. But when the landlord discovered this guy's high salary, he suddenly decided to charge the OP and his wife a massive increase in rent, boosting their monthly payments by $500!

As the OP, u/RockyMoose, writes to r/ProRevenge, he actually managed to make his landlord regret ever messing with him. This revenge was completely accidental, occurring years after the original issue cropped up. But as commenters noted, this long read is such a satisfying tale of getting back what you put into the world. Who among us wouldn't want to stick it to our landlord, especially combined with trashy behavior? This guy is genuinely living the dream.

Next up, you will never believe how one fast food worker got fired – it involves boxes stuffed full of chicken nuggets

'I'll stuff you in that washing machine': Crazy hotel Karen throws tantrum at front desk employee at 1 AM, chases her into the laundry room

If this isn't the premise for the next best horror comedy, I don't know what is. This Karen decided it was a good idea to leave her husband in their hotel room in the middle of the night and unload all her pent-up aggression onto the front desk employee, who was innocently working the night shift on her own. The employee shared her side of the story via this thread on Reddit's r/TalesFromTheFrontDesk subreddit.

Apparently, Karen thought she could get away with this behavior because her husband is an esteemed guest. What she didn't realize was that aggressively threatening someone on security camera footage truly speaks for itself. On another note, shouldn't we really be protecting our night shift workers from Karens like this by at the very least giving them more direct access to security? There is no way it needed to go down like this, and that is partially the fault of the hotel managers. Keep scrolling below for this tense encounter.

'Ends up paying him double': Greedy business owner tries to scam IT guy, IT guy scams him right back

It's often said that you shouldn't meddle with things you don't understand and, by extension, you shouldn't mess with the people who handle the things that you don't understand either. If you've managed to get a contractor in to handle something you can't or aren't willing to do or understand, and they deliver on that product, you'd do your best to pay them the agreed price. After all, we've already established you don't understand that thing, so why are you so certain you've got the upper hand here? That thinking is the kind of thinking that lands you with 33% of a website.

Still, short-sighted business owners like this only have one thing in mind: profit. They're basically just a real-life Mr. Krabs, always chasing that short-term dollar bill with complete negligence, blind to the consequences of their own actions.

This owner didn't manage to get one over on this contractor, who had ensured that final steps were required before their payment, getting a big payout over a longer period.

'She's the embarrassing... perpetually online influencer': Sister 'mortified' by entitled influencer sibling's attention-grabbing habits

"My sister is trying really hard to become famous online," this woman wrote, sharing why she's actually so fed up with her sister's attention-seeking habits.

Many influencers online create carefully crafted Instagram feeds and Facebook profiles. Their whole lives look gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing, and basically perfect. However, what their viewers don't see is the behind-the-scenes action. Just how far would an influencer go to get the perfect picture? We don't even want to know! But these sisters are totally butting heads over one sibling's insistence on photographing everything like the burgeoning star she wants to be.

The OP's sister was invited to the OP's engagement party, and the OP was so worried about her sister's behavior that she talked to her about it before the event. Even so, the OP's sister still couldn't help it. She pulled her phone out during the event to snap tons of photos of the food. The OP ignored this for a while, but then her sister took it way too far, and even the wait staff knew to intervene!
