The Most Bizarre Sign Fails This Week (October 7, 2022)

Sometimes, you have to wonder if these are actually mistakes or if whoever made these signs is the biggest troll of all. These fails were compiled from Reddit's r/funnysigns subreddit, and they just go to show that as long as there are signs in the world, there will always be a few fails to accompany them. Whether it's neon lights that don't work and create an unfortunate alternate reading or a sign's poor misplacement or just straight-up ironic signs, sign fails clearly come in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Cheating Dude Brings Pregnant Young Mistress to Thanksgiving, His Daughter Refuses to Come

Not only did this guy cheat on his wife and get his mistress pregnant - which led to his wife leaving him and the mistress moving in pretty much immediately - but he also had the nerve to bring his pregnant mistress to Thanksgiving soon afterward. This dude needs to learn the meaning of taking baby steps. His daughter, who is one year older than the mistress, has wisely decided to back out of attending the meal.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit by u/North_Selection1440, the brother of the cheating husband in question. One would think the mistress would feel uncomfortable coming to a family event so soon after all the drama. Also, the fact that she is literally half his age and even younger than her future daughter-in-law gives major Linda Cardellini in Legally Blonde vibes.

Redditors in the comment section clearly felt compelled to share their crazy Thanksgiving and Holiday family event stories. One pregnant woman found out her husband had another pregnant wife during her meal. Yikes! 'This job pays $200 a week': Hilarious viral babysitter ad requires a Master's Degree among other insane things

There's nothing that guarantees failure like setting unrealistic expectations. Anytime you expect too much of anything you're dooming yourself to be unhappy with whatever the outcome is.

'My mom loved her as a daughter': Son bans grieving mother from wedding to new bride after she asks him to invite his late wife's parents

This guy is something else. It's clear that this mother has been having trouble moving on from the death of her beloved daughter-in-law, the two of them had a close connection, and she had truly "loved her as her own daughter." It's completely understandable to hang on to the memory of loved ones who have been lost -not that her son seems to be. The cold and callous way in which he refers to his deceased bride is startling and the first thing that stood out to me in this post.

Sure, maybe the mother has overreached and overstepped with the way that she keeps commenting on her son's new relationship and comparing it to her dead daughter-in-law. But am I really the only one who thinks that the son needs to own a big part of her continued grieving? It doesn't sound like he has handled the situation in a way that has really allowed his mother to move past it and it really doesn't sound like he processed the situation well himself.

The fact that he completely cut his wife's parents out of his life after her passing really is raising some red flags too. Either his previous marriage was strained, or this guy is a total a**hole. His responses in the comments make me pretty certain that it's the latter. I can't imagine cutting my partner's parents out of my life if something were to happen to her.

How did his previous wife die? This is taking it too far - I know. But I'm now wondering if her death was under suspicious circumstances and if his late wife's life insurance is funding this massive wedding he's planning for his new and "better" bride.

Really hard to believe that Reddit voted "NTA" on this one. What a colossal a-hole.

Male Karen Throws Coffee in Waiter's Face and Demands That They Fire This 'Ignorant Useless Server'

With all the Karen content on the Internet, we forget that Dads are just as easily disagreeable. This entitled Dad recounted a story of how he was so upset with the fact that his espresso came in a paper cup rather than a mug… so upset that he literally threw his hot coffee at the server.

It gets worse. He later told his son this story and was genuinely proud of every detail, as if he stood up to the "man" or something. Really, he's lucky he didn't get charged with assault or anything like that. The son posted this thread and shared it with the community of Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit. He is fully aware that his father can be the literal worst. We hope that the Redditor and his mother call this dude out on his entitlement. There's no way this guy is ever going to change if the closest people in his life don't start confronting him directly. Keep scrolling below for the full story!

Truck Driver Gets Scammed Out of $2000 By Fake Rich Guy in Vegas, Shares Their Story

This is one of those lessons that is incredibly brutal to learn firsthand. It's almost biblical in a way; a wary and weary traveler is hailed by a stranger who claims to have suffered some misfortune. Will they help out? Will they give them the shirt off their own back? Except in this story, the stranger doesn't magically transform into a beautiful woman or a bearded old man and bestow riches upon them for their heart of gold. Nah, this is Vegas, baby - that stranger is going to strangle you with your own shirt the moment your back is turned.

The thing I really like about the story is that the storyteller is more than willing, to be honest about the thought processes that lead them to their downfall. People often make themselves the infallible heroes of their own stories who were wronged by outside forces that were entirely out of their control. No - this guy lays it out for us step by erroneous step; he even admits to being blinded by the idea of coming out on top of the exchange, imagining selling the jewelry and watch for an enormous profit later on. He was blinded by greed, as he himself puts it -and being able to admit that is admirable.

The other thing I really liked about this thread was that he included photos of the fake Rolex and jewelry to back up and add legitimacy to his story.

Sorry, in this one the scammer doesn't get their just desserts… Keep reading to see screenshots of this thread, which was shared to r/TIFU by Reddit user u/PokerOTR after their tragic error.
