Bad Life Pro Tips To Really Jack Up One's Game

Life gives us a lot of choices. It also makes a point pretty clearly that we should avoid a lot of them. As people, we're constantly fretting over the next best move. We want to do the right thing. Sometimes we want justice. Sometimes we want cold, hard cash. Sometimes we just want to sit in bed and stare at the ceiling. But with all those choices at our disposal, we don't want to make rash decisions, so we seek out advice that best fits our situation.

But that advice sometimes isn't so great. Sometimes, it's bad life pro tips that won't help at all. Bad tips can lead you down a road of ruination and humiliation. Bad advice could have you walking down the freeway at 2 in the morning just covered angry raccoons. Or even worse, getting into Ska. Don't get into Ska, you're better than that. Anyway, be they wildly self-destructive or heinously immoral, some pieces of advice are just hilariously dumb and bad tips to avoid.

Senior Manager Gets Employee Fired, Employee Digs Up Manager's Dirty Past

If you have skeletons hanging out in your closet, it's probably best to not make it your personal mission to get an employee terminated over a whole bunch of nonsense. It's not like people in this position really have all that much to benefit from being miserable to others, and it would do them well to all take a few deep breaths and consult their doctor for a prescription for chill pills. And if they can't do that, maybe we need a long range jerk-cannon aimed directly at the sun.

In this case, the employee did a little research on their old senior manager after being fired, and ended up learning that the senior manager had a bit of a troubled, secret past. Suffice to say, that was it for the senior manager, and the employee ended up being offered their gig. It's moments like these that make you realize that if you do your due diligence, you too can achieve anything within the realm of reasonable social and career revenge. So that's pretty cool.

Neighbor Brings Furious Wrath Upon Themselves By Repeatedly Parking In Woman's Driveway

Alright, buckle up for one and get your reading glasses on because it is a doozy of a tale and this gal knows how to tell a story at length. It is well worth a read though because this neighbor takes the entitlement knob and turns it UP.

Imagine having the gall in the first place to ask your neighbor if you can park your vehicle in their (single) driveway -blocking access to their garage and on their private property. Then, to be repeatedly told a very firm and clear "No" only to do it anyway? That is just a new level of brazen, pig-headed, entitled insanity.

Not sure if this one is reaching new lows or heights, but it's certainly one of the two.

__

When u/Jeleki2020, who is a single mother, had new neighbors move in next door she didn't expect that things could go so poorly. She made a point of immediately going over to their house and introducing herself to them in order to start the relationship on the right foot.

They seemed friendly enough and u/Jeleki2020 left feeling pretty hopeful.

The issues began with the way that the large family was handling their four vehicles. Their garage was full of stuff so they had all four of the vehicles in their driveway.

When one of the sons turned 16 they got him a new truck.

That's when they began insisting that they park it in her driveway.

Impressive Creations of Weird Taste

All in all it's good to know that it's possible to weave a wicker toilet. It's not clear exactly what it's for, but it definitely counts as an impressive creation of dubious taste. Everyone has their own style, and whether that's golden hot dog statues or chest tattoos of Scooby Doo, there's always someone out there willing to make an extremely competent version of it. They may be of questionable taste, but they're definitely impressive creations.

Hats off to the artists and craftsmen out there who are willing to do this. It's not like it's many people's explicit passion to design an incredibly detailed Ridley Scott Alien style motorcycle. But hey, if someone wants it done, there are more than enough people out there who are willing to listen to the heavily-pocketed dude who's always wanted to drive down the streets of Tulsa on a Xenomorph.

Does it say something about us as people that we don't feel completely fulfilled until we finally get to ride around in a car shaped like our third favorite brand of hot dog? Some could say that we lead frivolous lives. Others might say that it's good to have dreams. May the childlike wonder in our souls never die, and may we all ride off on our hotdog-mobiles into that great steamer tray in the sky.

Hateful In-laws Refuse to Make Salad For Son’s Vegetarian Wife, Get Offended When She Brings Her Own

u/No-sense-2820 eloped with her husband over this past summer. Some of the motivating reasons behind that were that his family were "traditional" and didn't want to invite her to their house if they weren't married.

Who on earth refuses to meet their children's partner in 2022 just because they aren't married? Also what is it with the, dramatically increasing, number of people excusing their older relative's or in-laws' behavior as "being traditional". Every time you see this come up it's an excuse being made for someone who is out of touch and awful.

These in-laws aren't traditional. They're hateful and cruel. Whether or not she had brought a salad they would have found some reason to take offense to her existence. I can't believe how hard they are making this for her. Like how hard is it to prepare something, anything that doesn't have meat in it? It's a bloody salad, Karen and Ken. It's not going to kill you.

Her husband sounds like he has done a pretty good job of supporting her. But he needs to really stand his ground for her like this husband who went off on his entitled brother-in-law.
