Top Trending Adam Levine Tweets For Those Who Are Still in Shock

In some ways, we're totally unsurprised that Adam Levine is trash. But just HOW gross he is was definitely a shock to Twitter users everywhere.

For those of you who have been living under a rock or are still stuck in the queue to pay respects to Her Majesty, yesterday we learned that Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 (you know, that band that's been doing the same thing since 2005?) had been cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo, a Victoria's Secret model, for over a year with Instagram model Sumner Stroh. The plot thickens. Prinsloo is pregnant with their third child, and Levine reached out to Stroh after some time apart to ask if he can name his unborn son after her. Yes, you read that correctly.

We also learned all this information from the horse's mouth herself (that horse being Sumner Stroh, who shared their Instagram direct messages as part of her grand reveal). Stroh also showed virtually no remorse and never took a moment to apologize to Prinsloo and her kids in her original post, so she's definitely not coming across as the whistleblower she likely thought she'd be. This is already Olivia Wilde-level drama

Instead, the heroes of this story are the people who made light of this insanity by crafting these excellent tweets. For more content like this, check out these top trending memes and tweets about quiet quitting.

Top Trending Pickup Lines This Month (September 2022)

They may not have all worked, but they're trending!

The art of the pickup line is a craft only very few people learn to develop skillfully. Let's just say you can learn a lot about what works and what definitely does not work from Reddit's r/Tinder subreddit. These various threads represent the wide range of what thirsty people are capable of on dating apps. As I'm sure you can imagine, it's not a pretty picture.

Check out these top trending pickup lines below along with some commentary from yours truly, and take a look at this list for more dating app fails!

Teenager Learns He is a Child of Infidelity, Seeks Out Biological Father Against Parents' Wishes

The kids are not all right! This is the kind of Reddit thread that will 100% be adapted into a movie.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/Awn2247, who learned the truth about his Mom's infidelity only 6 months ago. Now, he's 15, and his entire family pretty much ostracized him. While his "parents" work out their issues, the Redditor has been forced to stay with his grandparents (that's some Roald Dahl-level cruelty right there). Only his Aunt still treats him the same and even helped him uncover the identity of his biological father.

It's a relief to know that this kid's biological dad is a good guy. He broke things off with the kid's mom after learning she was married and never knew that she was pregnant with his kid. Thankfully, his family accepted the Redditor into their lives. Once the Redditor's Mom and "Dad" discovered that he had been spending time with a new family, they were hurt. But let's be real here: they don't get to be hurt after they isolated their son and he rightfully went off to find a new support system.

Personally, I haven't come across such juicy family drama since I would catch soap operas on daytime TV while home "sick" from school. For more content like this, take a look at this story where a cheater was exposed to his mother by his ex.

'I got paid to repair all the violations': "House flipper" wants electrician to mislead inspector after getting someone else to do the work

After watching the client go off on his business-partner brother, this electrician quickly realized that they didn't want to work with a short-tempered house flipper. The electrician gave the client his "I don't want to do this job" price, which led the client to go with another electrician. When the client contacted them months later to meet with the inspector, it became instantly apparent that the workmanship was inferior and not up to code.

Endless videos online display the poor workmanship that often goes into renovation done by these house flippers. It's incredibly entertaining to watch proper craftsmen point out all the issues with the work and then explain the cost involved to undo the job and do it properly.   Not to say that there aren't true craftsmen who can do passable or even incredible work to flip a house, but all too often, people go into house flipping with no skills and only a desire for profit.

It's great to see this electrician getting the chance to get even after being passed up for someone cheaper who isn't properly practicing the trade.

Nepotism Hire Gets Called Out By Coworker After Labeling Her a "Diversity Hire"

It's wild how nepo-babies truly believe they can get away with anything.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit by u/meaian, who shared her story about what it's like to be the only woman and only woman of color on her male-dominated team at work. On top of all that, she also has a coworker who totally got the job on his own. I mean, his uncle just happens to be the CFO and it's a complete coincidence.

In case you're incapable of reading into sarcasm, he's a total nepo-baby who, on top of all that, is ridiculously competitive with the original poster. After she was given the opportunity to attend an event with their boss, he lashed out, using racist and misogynistic micro-aggressions in front of her and her bystander coworker. Of course, she lashed out right back and called him out for being the nepo-hire he is. Now because people who are the products of nepotism are genetically engineered to not be able to handle criticism or the truth, he did not take it well. Ultimately, he told the Redditor she crossed a line and that she's "lucky" he's not telling HR.

As the heated discussion in the comments below suggests, the Redditor should still very much go to HR and get ahead of this. He knows he's in the wrong, which is why he knows he can't really report her. For similar content, check out this story about a racist Karen who got thrown out of a Panera Bread.

'Just quit my job effective today by email': Employer denies new employee leave negotiated during interview process, new employee quits

This employer reneged on its promise to allow a new employee to take leave agreed upon during the interview process, prompting the employee to send this email notifying the employer of their immediate resignation.

'Can my landlord do this?': 5 Times Landlords Displayed an Inhuman Lack of Consideration For Their Tenants

It's no secret that landlords have a reputation for being manipulative lizard-people who will take any chance possible to extort or exploit tenants for a little bit more profit. It's akin to when you've made a few too many whiskey sours and are really trying to take that same lime for as many laps as possible. You futilely keep squeezing and squeezing the dang thing, determined to get out a little bit more juice, despite it already having as much juice left as a politician has morals.

Anyways, if you need spelling out of the awkward analogy: You're the lime, and your landlord will get some more cash out of you regardless of if you have any more to live.

Here are five stories where landlords showed their absolute desire to "lord" over their tenants. Each story has a title, a brief description, and the first screenshot. Click on 'Continue Reading' after each screenshot to view the full story.
