It feels like maybe the boyfriend has overreacted here a bit. I mean, her daughter is her flesh and blood and probably should be the one inheriting the family home. It doesn't matter how close her and her partner are. The commenters are on point here and this woman should be concerned about how her boyfriend will treat her daughter and her estate should she pass away and he get any kind of control over it.
It's probably time to make some assessments here because this reaction is totally out of line.
