There's no beating around the bush when it comes to spectacular hazards and ominous signs. It's pretty hard to ignore a sign that says "watch your step: open mine shafts" or "radioactive zone" or "step past this line and your mistakes are your own." The creepiest and most sinister signs often mean the most business. It just goes to show that paying attention is usually a good idea.
