'If you continue to speak to me in such a manner, I will terminate this call': Karen goes off on customer service rep, gets her comeuppance

Never forget those calls are being recorded... We have all had a difficult experience dealing with silly bureaucratic rules with internet service, credit card companies, and the like. But here's the thing: as frustrating as these rules are, it's never a result of the decision-making of the customer service representative on the other line. In fact, most customer service reps don't want to make things inconvenient. If they could solve your problems in an instant without having to hear you babble and complain, they most certainly would.

This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/ithinkitmightbe, shows what happens when a testy Karen gets exactly what she deserves. In this case, she was warned by the Redditor that they will terminate the call if she continues to be, well, her Karen self. However, she wouldn't relent and even said "well terminate it then!" You can just guess what happened next. Keep scrolling for the full story and for more anecdotes in the comments section. When you're finished, here's another story about a boomer Karen's revenge!
