First impressions really do matter! These people told r/askreddit about the people who they knew they wouldn't get along with from the first minute of conversation, and it was quite eye opening.
People tend to tell you who they are — you just have to listen. A few teachers took to the comments to express their frustration with parents who love to tell these teachers how much their kids hate reading. In some cases, they bragged that their kid is illiterate! The teachers certainly didn't like that, as they wrote that these parents tend to avoid making their kids do homework.
Other folks wrote in about the ways they first met their neighbors. One literally described himself as an a****** from the very first meeting! Not all jerks will just tell you that they suck, but when they do, it's time to run for the hills.
Next, peer into the lives of this one entitled family. This guy just doesn't understand why his BIL won't travel with him, but there's a 5-figure reason the BIL is irate.
