'I was just trying to help!': Coworker tries to hijack couple's wedding by doing all the planning, bride shuts it down

There are certain people in life who enjoy inserting themselves into situations where they are clearly not wanted. This coworker was invited to the Redditor and his wife's wedding as a courtesy, but she decided that it was important to her to assist in the planning despite not taking into account the tastes of the bride and groom. She honestly sounds like an absolute nightmare to deal with.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/Nachtjaeger68, and let's just say that this bride was quick to shut this annoying coworker down. Thankfully, the bride and groom were able to have the exact simple, corny wedding they wanted despite the efforts of this lonely, intrusive, "wedding planning" coworker. It turns out that the coworker did get emotional when she was told to back off, pleading that she was only trying to help. The reality is that she really wasn't. She was merely inserting herself and making this entire event about her to fulfill some sort of inner desire. It's giving Rose Byrne's character from Bridesmaids, is it not?

When we say that the bride and groom's ceremony and reception were corny events, we mean it. We're talking lots of science fiction and D&D fans were present at the venue, and there were enough weird moments to please all of them. The only person who wasn't pleased at the end of the day was the entitled coworker, who at this point simply did not deserve to be validated.
