Posted to the r/ChoosingBeggars subreddit, this woman detailed the story and shared screenshots of their text conversation. Basically, the OP went to a wedding and gave an exceptionally nice gift. She met a woman there who she barely knows - and this "Beggar Bride" reached out with an interesting request. It starts innocently enough: the bride remembered OP from the wedding and wants to ask her a question. She sends a text noting that she had someone drop out of her wedding party and now, she probably needs some extra wedding presents. This bride adds that she does have a registry but she drops a bombshell at the end of their text conversation, sparking discussions in the comments section. This is one bride who won't be getting an invite to the OP's wedding any time soon.
