This is an atomic test from 1958. Within 7 seconds of detonation, the spray dome hit 840 feet. It's also a reminder that it would be really great if we could put our collective intellect and energy into creating things or fixing potholes. Too bad the pothole challenge is too large to undertake. Look at the size of that explosion!
