When developing something for a company, it's probably a good idea to include a way for that company to actually make money. This guy had a bone to pick with the existing code, which would have been fine if he could have actually provided a better solution. But he couldn't. And then he decided to double down. For another absurd tale from the realm of technology, here's a coworker who demanded a mathematically impossible computer and was proven incompetent.
