Depending on where you live, you might associate autumn with that distinct chill in the air, shorter days, and an abundance of pumpkins that were sacrificed to the greater cause of playing their roles as doorstep/fire escape/windowsill decorations. Autumn, and especially Spooktober is also the time when people flock to corn mazes with a maddened hunger in their eyes. There's clearly something hard-wired in the humans' DNA, where we can enjoy the process of getting lost just to find ourselves again. Who knows? Maybe something about the thrill of unpredictability. With all of that being said, you've got to be extra careful when you're navigating the dark and treacherous alleyways of a corn maze populated by bloodthirsty stalks of corn.
