It's perfectly fine to not get a joke. We all do it all the time. There's absolutely no shame in being confused. But when you're the kind of person who hates critical thinking so much that you decide that an obvious joke is an earnest statement, then go out of your way to accuse that person of not knowing what the sun is or whatever, you've just found yourself among the ranks of oblivious people who completely missed the joke. Enjoy your idiot throne atop your hill of dumb.
