The devil really is in the details. This manager was clearly one of those profoundly tiresome human beings who refuses to be reasonable. The good news for the employee in this situation is that their manager failed to read up on the very contract that they used as a fallback, when trying to skip out on paying their employee for their unused vacation days. Suffice to say, it's a sweet fairytale ending.
