The world would be a very different place without a hefty measure of clever comebacks sailing through the online atmosphere to take down the sentiments of mind blowing ignorance and cluelessness that people tweet and text and post with stubborn persistence. A successful clever comeback will instantly silence the room, and hopefully encourage its recipient to look inwards, and momentarily reflect on what inspired them to say what they did in the first place. Sometimes, that happens. But other times, people miss the comebacks altogether.
