For every small thing that can go right, there's about a hundred things that can go wrong. Trampolines get blown away, septic tanks explode, cars drive into lakes, and frisbees get caught in trees like way up there. We know that the world is unpredictable but that doesn't stop us from continuing to try to get things right. That said, bad things just keep happening.
