Intriguing and Perfectly Cromulent Simpsons Facts


Just about everyone grew up watching the Simpsons, and the show remains a wonderful memory for many of us, up to somewhere around season 9. Here are some Simpsons facts, from ideas that got dropped, to obscure canon, to the real world inspirations for certain episodes. Here are some absurd moments of cartoon logic that make perfect sense.

1.

Elephant - The Simpsons episode where Bart gets an elephant was based on a real Price is Right incident in 1956

Animated cartoon - The term "meh" as an indifferent response gained popularity in the modern lexicon after its use on "The Simpsons."

Cartoon - Krusty the Clown was supposed to be revealed to be Homer Simpsons secret identity but the idea was dropped being too complex

Cartoon - Tomacco (tomato/tobacco hybrid) from The Simpsons actually exists. The tomatoes grown have nicotine in them.

Cartoon - MAT Gao6 Lisa Simpson remains a vegetarian as a promise from the show's staff to Paul McCartney
