'Moms are a different breed when it comes to getting tattooed': Tattoo artist shares epic story proving moms handle pain better than any tatted up tough guy

If you have never gotten a tattoo before and somebody tells you something like, "oh it doesn't hurt on your thigh" or "oh it huts more on the ribs than it does your feet"—that's BS. First of all, it is different for everybody so no one place is going to hurt less than the other. Also, yes, of course it is going to hurt, you're getting jabbed with a needle a million times over and over again. How you handle pain is what matters. Tough dude "alpha male" wannabes are always acting like they can handle anything because they were in one fight when they were blackout drunk in college. But get them under the tattoo machine and the are squirming and crying like little babies. You know what type of person can usually handle pain better than any other? MOTHERS. Giving birth has been related to going to war in past cultures, it is THAT painful and traumatizing. After you go through that, you can handle a little one-two-jab under the epidermis.

One tattoo artist took to her social media to share one of her favorite tattooing experiences. She said she had a group of early to mid 20 something girls come in to get matching Playboy bunny tattoos on their butts. The tattoo artist says she loves tattoo girlfriend groups because she basically becomes one of the girls while she works and it's always a nice fun time. All of the girls had precious tattoos except for the youngest. She was so afraid to ago the entire time and her friends basically just kept telling her to stop complaining. The tattoo artist was kind of feeling sorry for the youngest because nobody was validating her fear of getting her first tattoo, until on of the girl's friends told her she will be fine because she literally just have birth without an epidural a few months ago. When the tattoo artist heard that she knew it was going to be a breeze because moms handle pain the best out of all of her clients.
