There is a mental switch that occurs in the male brain when he has a child or parents a kid. Becoming a dad triggers a list of latent characteristics that over every person over the age of 25 when fathering a child and those characteristics are universal. Understandably, we cannot scientifically prove this, but it seems like every dad brags about waking up early only seconds before falling asleep on the couch. Every dad guards the thermostat like everyone's life depends on it. And every dad loves grilling, chilling, and cracking a few brewskies with the neighborhood rival dads.
Did you just have a kid? Well, fire up the lawn mower because the dadness is coming for you. It's not something you can outrun; you inevitably may become the incarnate of your parents. You can't fight the New Balance sneakers. You can't fight the loudness of your sneezing. Finally, you will no longer be able to fight the urge to grab the leaf blower the second a single leaf falls to the ground.
