Remember early in 2020 when society became obsessed with an eccentric gay man named Joe Exotic? We had no idea what we loved (or hated about this man), but for some reason, watching Tiger King was extremely important. Joe had a enormous dangling eyebrow piercing, a silly habit of turning straight men into his husbands, and a deep-rooted hatred for a middle-aged woman who dressed like a middle school flower child…Carole Baskin.
Not only did Joe hate Carole, but his amateur detective work uncovered an even darker secret about Carole's past that the audience, and the police, could not ignore. 30 years ago, Carole's husband, Don Lewis, went "missing "and it seemed that everyone on the show was determined to prove that she had something to do with his disappearance– most notably, they thought she might have fed him to her tigers. Now, in 2023, we're learning that Carole's "deceased" hubby, Don Lewis, is actually alive and well, living large in Costa Rica. That's one way to escape a marriage to a crazy cat lady.
