It doesn't get more heartless than this. This Karen entered her current relationship with her husband knowing full well that he had a close platonic friendship with his ex-wife. He made it clear from the get-go that this friendship was non-negotiable and that it would never turn into something more than friends again. He was true to his word.
Karen posted this thread to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit after her husband's ex-wife died suddenly of an aneurysm. You can sense her sick and twisted relief that she's gone. You can also sense her absolute cluelessness when she heartlessly denied her husband the right to plan and attend this woman's funeral. Thankfully, this guy stood up for himself, and now I think it's pretty clear that this marriage may also implode soon.
