Some people have zero self-awareness and totally expect themselves to be in the right when everyone else would gladly tell them that they are, in fact, totally wrong. This husband probably was thinking this exact thing when he decided to ask his wife for a divorce after she pulled the plug on his gaming session over his unwillingness to help out with the couple's child.
The wife made a post to Reddit's r/AmItheA**hole subreddit in which she appealed to readers of the online community to see whether she was in the wrong for taking more dire measures to separate her husband from his gaming session. I'd normally be a staunch defender of the parents getting suitable time to escape and pursue their hobbies, but this sounds like an extreme situation. The wife is both the primary breadwinner and primary caretaker while the husband — well, he doesn't do f*** all, really. To be honest, the guy sounds like me in University — but I didn't have a wife and sick child to look after. He sounds like a pretty heavy deadweight that she should be glad to be rid of.
