'When it came time for gifts I got everyone something but her': Woman gets petty revenge on partner's entitled mother by not getting her a Christmas gift

Whatever happened to "you get what you get and you don't get upset?" This woman's potentially future mother-in-law was incredibly rude after the past two Christmas gift exchanges. What was she expecting this time around?

This thread, which was posted to Reddit's r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit, should hopefully speak to those of you on this Christmas day who have to deal with ungrateful family members, rude tantrums, and the kind of passive-aggressive behavior that can accompany Holiday gatherings. We salute you all for just trying to stay above the fray, and we can live vicariously through this Redditor, who decided that enough was enough. If this mother seriously thought the past two gifts were "some tacky little trinkets bought from Target" when they were actually very thoughtful attempts at getting in her good graces, then Monster-in-Law has truly forfeited her right to a decent gift. We hope that none of you have had to deal with BS like this during your gift exchanges.
