Santa Claus as a figure, as a story, and as a concept is downright creepy. Sure, they try to make him seem cute with his jolly voice and his rosy cheeks, but deep down, Santa is a home invader with a child obsession and it's just weird that everyone ignores those two facts. Just because he's a big man who likes to eat 8 billion cookies a night, doesn't mean that he's harmless. This is a man who relies on slave labor to build an empire whose sole purpose is to perpetuate child bribery and 'annual performance reviews' for 7 year olds. Have you been good this year? Well these mall-Santa's certainly have NOT and prove that it's super creepy to let your child sit on a strangers lap, traumatizing them, for a few photos to laugh at later. If you're that person then you'd only have to hope that your local Santa put a little thought into the costume and didn't drink a fifth of vodka for breakfast that morning.
