You know that feeling when you have to work between Christmas and New Year's... well, we certainly know the feeling, and it's not a good one, to say the least. In fact, you feel like you're in this bizarre purgatorial state of limbo. You've just experienced a taste of what real rest looks like, and just as you're getting adjusted to that rest, you have to go back to before as if another brief moment of tranquility isn't about to come again. It's the opposite feeling of calm in between two storms. It's a storm in between two periods of calm. To put it bluntly: no one should have to deal with this, and yet, we push forward and we do because that's the way the cookie crumbles.
