'Please let him know [...] she'd be his personal bachelor party if he was so inclined': Toxic ex reaches out to groom the night before his wedding

This marriage feels over before it started! What happens when your toxic ex with whom you have a dark and twisted history reaches out to your brother the night before your wedding? And what happens when your brother tells you about it and it causes a rift in your new marriage immediately after the ceremony? I'll start by saying I am so glad this is not my story.

This thread was posted to Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit, and the comments section got a bit heated about who was to blame here. Sure, actions have consequences but this guy had blocked this very damaged relationship from his life for over two years. For his brother to share that information about "Big Shirl' on the day of the wedding has got to feel like an act of either extreme recklessness or extreme sabotage. Either way, it's not a good look. One Redditor wisely made the comparison between this scenario and tempting a recovering addict. That certainly does not paint a promising picture of the brother.

We've seen plenty of instances of wedding drama. For another one, take a look at this post about a bridezilla who kicked a server out of her wedding.
