Does anybody else have the experience of swiping on a dating app, and suddenly forgetting that this is not a game? We grew up playing silly single-player games on our phones, and now suddenly these are real people not just pictures or characters. There's no coin prize, and the goal is to get off of the app. Something about that just seems so confusing. But maybe that's not a universal experience, maybe The majority of people have all adjusted and then some of us just don't belong on the apps.
It seems almost silly that people still have such aversion to the apps when it clearly works for so many couples, but there are still definitely a bunch of peculiar characters to be found basically every time you enter them, so if you have the patience it'll definitely be worth your while, but also if you just want to laugh it's probably also definitely worth your while.
