It's not a good idea to get actively pissed at the person who's trying to help you. And adding to that, trying to undermine their authority on something you demonstrably know nothing about is a really great way to convince them to stop helping you. This guy who's blind to anything car related needed help changing a flat when his girlfriend let him know that he had a few bigger problems with his vehicle than he realized. But instead of investigating the problem, he decided to tell her that she was wrong. Big words for someone who's mystified by a car jack.
