Sure we can acknowledge on the day-to-day the acid is scary, but to seeing what it can do to a tube of extruded animal parts is a fun reminder that chemistry can get real hardcore. Just seeing the last flash of its floppy meat-noodle form before blinking out of existence entirely is almost cartoonish. One has to wonder what hot dog vapor smells like.
